Service Corps is a pro bono consulting program offered by several Net Impact chapters worldwide, providing the opportunity for chapter members to use their education and professional experience to help the greater community. Members engage in short-term, part-time projects for non-profit organizations to fulfill a specific business need.
How it works: - A non-profit that meets our criteria submits a project proposal, generally within the categories of business strategy, operations or marketing.
- A project team lead is identified and works with the client to define scope, roles and timeline - typically between 3 - 6 months.
- Time to find a team! The project lead selects several volunteers whose skills and/or interests align with the project scope. We meet, greet, and mingle and get ready to make magic happen.
- We convene for regular meetings (virtual or in person) that fits everyone's schedules, and work independently in the interim. Expected time commitment is about 15 hrs/mo.
- We deliver a high-quality project that has a profound impact on the client's business and looks great on our resumes - a win-win!

The Net Impact SF professional chapter launches Service Corps projects on an ad-hoc basis - when we get contacted by organizations that have great projects and need a bit of help. Stay tuned by signing up for our newsletter.
