About Us

Net Impact San Francisco

We are the San Francisco Bay Area professional chapter of Net Impact. Net Impact was originally rooted in business schools and has grown into an international nonprofit whose mission is to “inspire, educate, and equip individuals to use the power of business to create a more socially and environmentally sustainable world.” In San Francisco our chapter is focused on building a durable core community with a longer-term interest in building skills, navigating careers, and contributing to the community. We’re doing this by: 1) programs like Service Corps Board Fellows that offer deeper ways to get involved with local nonprofits, 2) monthly chapter gatherings and online tools (Website, Facebook, LinkedIn) to fostering connections, and 3) a calendar of events that helps to bridge the various green business events and organizations that the Bay Area is privileged to have. and

Any working professional can participate in our chapter, though most of our members have an MBA. Dues-paying members are eligible to participate in our Service Corps and Board Fellows programs, receive discounts on conferences and events, and can access Net Impact Central’s resources. Most of our events are also open to non-members.
