Event Summary: Panel discussion followed by networking, a glass of wine and a toast to winter spirit.
Experts from the business, government, and advocacy sectors will address the landscape of climate change policy. Panelist will speak to issues of social justice, bottom-line business concerns, near-term mitigation, and adaptation.
What happened at The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17)? The discussion will use COP17 as the backdrop for climate policy issues from international and regional vantage points. Panelists will speak to the connections between climate policy, business concerns and social equity. The question often arises of whether the most effective way to “change the world” is through business or through policy. Where is the balance point and who goes first?

Net Impact and The Happiness Institute are proud to present a collaboration un-conference style retreat. Join us for the opportunity to convene with an inspiring group of people and participate in a fun, relaxing, and insightful experience, exploring what brings us happiness and how we can get more of it. There’ll also be plenty of opportunities to hike, chat with your old/new friends, soak in the hot tub (that’s right), toast in the sauna, meditate, loose yourself in the labyrinth, eat yummy food, and more!
The content is pre-planned and driven by attendees, who care to share their expertise and enthusiasm on specifichappiness-related topics. We already have the framework for the agenda, and several session leaders/contributors lined, and during the next month and a half we are opening up the lines to you to help curate the sessions and build upon the existing content.
